Shipping policy

Tuff Writer ships orders Monday through Friday. Orders are processed and shipped in the order they are received. Occasionally an order will take a few days longer as we're actually making your specific item.

USPS Shipping Rules

Tuff Writer may put a signature on your package depending on the value and delivery location. Please contact us if you have any questions.

Domestic:

  • Ground Advantage - This is USPS's slower, more economical Ground shipping service. It is slow (usually 3-7 transit days), and may take a while to get from Arizona to wherever you are at. It includes tracking and up to $100 in insurance. If you ship using this method, any loss over the $100 will not be covered. It is the slowest and least reliable service USPS offers. If you don't want to risk a slow, or sometimes lost, package, this is not the shipping method for you.
  • Priority Mail - This is USPS's faster shipping service that generally takes 2-3 transit days (depending on your location, and this is not a guaranteed delivery window). It is generally more reliable than Ground Advantage, and features full tracking.

International:

Any issues that arise due to your customs clearance is not covered by any insurance or coverage. We will ship you what you order, but it is up to you to determine the rules regarding ordering, importing and owning the products we sell. Basically, if you buy something and your customs seize it, you will not get reimbursed.

  • First Class International - This is USPS's cheapest, slowest and least reliable international shipping method. It has by far the most delays and lost packages of any shipping service we have. This method can take anywhere form 7 to 21 (or longer) transit days to be delivered, not including customs clearance times. Comes with limited tracking. USPS handles the package until it gets to your country, where is is handed off to Customs. Once cleared, the package is given to a local carrier who makes final delivery. We only offer it as some folks require a cheap shipping method. Any issues that arise with it after leaving the US are handled by your country's customs service and/or the final local carrier that finalizes delivery, as USPS no longer has possession of the package. This method offers no insurance. Use at your own risk.
  • Priority Mail International - Generally 6-10 transit days for delivery, not including customs clearance times. More reliable and faster than First Class, with full tracking. USPS handles the package until it gets to your country, where is is handed off to Customs. Once cleared, the package is given to a local carrier who makes final delivery.
